  • Full-time registered Veterinary nurse

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time registered veterinary nurse to join us at our small and friendly veterinary surgery in the attractive village of Waddesdon.
We are a small animal practice providing excellent patient care for cats, dogs, small family pets and exotics. We pride ourselves on ensuring our clients are well informed and educated about their pets care. Our experienced team of 2 vets, 3 nurses and 2 receptionists work alongside each other to achieve this goal. We are a forward thinking practice with a wide range of facilities which allow us to carry out a variety of procedures, with a sterile theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental x-rays and in-house laboratory. We have separate cat and dog wards, and have recently undergone major refurbishments to our reception area and consultation rooms allowing us to have separate cat and dog waiting areas.
Our practice is a certified training practice so we regularly have student nurses, which you will be able to assist in their training. Our surgery is supported by our Veterinary Hospital in Bicester who provide our out-of-hours emergency service and our over-night hospital facilities. In-patients are looked after by our own night-staff.
We are looking for either an experienced or newly qualified veterinary nurse who is adaptable, enthusiastic and motivated to join our team. This position is very much “hands on”, involving a variety of nursing duties, nurse clinics and some reception work. We provide a competitive salary, pension scheme, CPD funding and a generous colleague discount scheme.
If you are interested in this position please email your CV with a covering letter to contactus@hartvet.co.uk or to speak to Tim call 01296 651000.
