  • Full time Companion Animal Vet

    Glenthorne Vets are looking for a full time Companion Animal Vet to join their expanding team at the Uttoxeter surgery in Staffordshire. This is a large branch of a predominantly rural mixed practice, with excellent facilities including digital radiography, ultrasound, dedicated operating theatre and full range of orthopaedic equipment. The situation would suit somebody working toward a certificate, particularly in internal medicine, as there is a good case load, but with periods in the day for a motivated person to develop cases.
    Tier 2 Practice Standards and a hard working professional team of Vets and Support Staff
    Support from experienced vets and surgeon within the branch
    Negotiable on-call work, and fair saturday morning rota.

  • Midshire Veterinary Group- Veterinary Nurse Required

    We are looking for a RCVS registered veterinary nurse.
    Having excellent transport links to the rest of the country, we are a busy mixed practice with two sites based in the market town of Nuneaton, Warwickshire and have been established in one form or another for over a century. We pride ourselves on our high standards of patient and client care. We are a member of XL Vets and RCVS accredited. We are also a training practice.
    Our nurses nurse! Nurse clinics encouraged, in house lab, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital radiography, anaesthesia monitoring equipment. We encourage our nurses to carry out schedule 3 procedures. Occasional input to assist with farm work.
    This is a full time position (39 hours/week) however part time could be considered. We outsource our on call but maintain an inpatient rota and work Saturdays/weekends and bank holidays on a shared basis.
    Salary commensurate with experience with additional holiday and pay for length of service, workplace pension, CPD allowance and professional fees paid, staff pet discount, employee assistance scheme.
    Driving licence and own car essential for this role.

    The Clyde Vet Group are a strong independent practice, with a history dating back over seven decades, providing veterinary excellence to the local community.
    Due to our continued expansion at our spacious Tier 3 RCVS hospital in Lanark, we are currently recruiting for experienced Small Animal vets.
    Equipment includes Video Endoscopy, Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, In-House Lab, dedicated cat and dog wards, and Dental room, etc. etc.
    Flexible working patterns can be accommodated. CPD is actively encouraged and funded.
    Clyde Vet Group is also a founding partner of the XLVets group, and has a large Small Animal Hospital in Lanark, with two branch surgeries.
    A 12 strong S/A vet team is complimented with 18 VNs, we have an in-house orthopaedic referral service and visiting pet rehabilitation consultant.
    The position requires Out of Hours cover as part of our commitment to our loyal clients; this is shared between our vet team, with generous time off in lieu of OOHs work.
    The on call rota contribution is negotiable for PT positions.
    Salary commensurate with experience, annual bonus, generous pension and 29 days annual leave on a pro-rata basis.
