  • SMALL ANIMAL VET REQUIRED – NORTH CUMBRIA/SCOTTISH BORDERS

    We have a great opportunity for a forward thinking small animal vet, preferably with a medical bias, to join our first-opinion mixed practice.
     We are a 3-branch, 12 vet modern RCVS tier 2 nurse-training practice with an emphasis on dedicated and personal care. We are well equipped, including digital radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound, ECG and full surgical facilities. We also have mobile MRI and regular visits from cardiology and ultrasonography specialists. We have nurses on call for all out of hours work and a very supportive and friendly team. All new graduates are mentored by experienced staff.

  • Full Time Registered Veterinary Nurse - Waddesdon Surgery

    We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time registered veterinary nurse to join us at our RCVS Registered Small Animal General Practice in the beautiful Buckinghamshire village of Waddesdon.
    We are a small animal practice providing excellent patient care for cats, dogs, small family pets and exotics. We pride ourselves on ensuring our clients are well informed and educated about their pets care. Our experienced team of 2 vets, 3 nurses and 2 receptionists work alongside each other to achieve this goal. We are a forward thinking practice with a wide range of facilities which allow us to carry out a variety of procedures, with a sterile theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental x-rays and in-house laboratory. We have separate cat and dog wards.
    We are really proud of our 24 hours a day 365 days a year out-of-hours emergency service which is run from our hospital facilities in Bicester, only 12 miles away. In-patients are looked after there by our own dedicated night-staff who are up all night caring for our charges & ready to offer help and advice to our clients in the wee small hours.
    We are looking for either an experienced or newly qualified veterinary nurse who is adaptable, enthusiastic and motivated to join our team. This position is very much “hands on”, involving a variety of nursing duties, nurse clinics etc. We provide a competitive salary, pension scheme, CPD funding and a generous colleague discount scheme.

  • Small Animal Vet required – Maternity cover

    With Ruth due to go off on Maternity Leave in January 2018 we are looking for a friendly, forward thinking Small Animal vet to join our team for 2018. We are a mixed practice based in North Cumbria with good local access to the motorways, west coast mainline and closer to home – the Lake District national park.
    The small animal staff are a supportive team of vets and RVNs dedicated to providing a high quality service to our clients. We have all the normal tools, including digital radiography, endoscopy and the latest in-house Idexx analysers and also offer 15 minute
    consultations.
    The position would be full time, there is a shared 1 in 4 OOH rota at weekends, 1 in 5 weeknights and a half day off per week. We would be offering CPD prorata and can offer support in the practice as well as through the extended XLVets network. New graduates considered. There is the possibility of a permanent position if mutually compatible.
